WHO ARE YOU?
You are going to have to let people
know who you are and what you do. Presuming you are pretty much
broke after spending all that money on equipment you don't have much
left for advertising. If nothing else, spend a little on business
cards and a brochure.
You can make business cards on your computer very
reasonably. Buy some business card stock with fine perforations at
the local office supply store. They are cheap and easy and you
don't have to commit to a bunch of cards that you might want to change
after a short time in business. Most office type software programs
come with a business card template. If not, Avery have a template
online you can use with their business card stock.
A not so glossy brochure is also easy to make on your
your computer. Again, many software programs have templates for a
brochure. It does not have to be fancy but make sure you include
your name, address and what you do Also, leave some space on the bottom to
handwrite a note.
That's it, well almost. You can also make up a sandwich board
with your name and phone number on it. Make sure the phone number
is big enough for people to read when they drive by.
