ALL YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT PRESSURE WASHERS

FIXED MOUNTED INPLANT WASHER UNITS

Many people think of a fixed pressure washer mounted on a skid or plate as having to be a very large unit.  This is generally the case when in a plant of factory environment.  However, there are many applications for this type of installation which calls for a smaller unit.

Fixed mounted washers are great when you can take the job to the pressure washer rather than take the pressure washer to the job.  Many companies such as auto spas, car washes, mechanical shops, fabricators, food plants, trucking companies, equipment repair shop etc. use these types of pressure washers.

This type of unit is usually electric powered rather than gas powered. Plants and factories with hydraulic equipment running and hydraulic power available, a hydraulic powered pressure washer is ideal.

Many plants will have a dedicated pressure wash pad setup with a catch basin to recover and recycle wash water.  Fixed installations are very convenient as they are setup with a permanently connected water supply and are available almost instantly, with the flip of a switch.  Piping pressurized water throughout a plant using an array of pipes or hoses, switches and valves allows for multi-stations to be used individually or at the same time. For even more convenience these systems can be setup with an automatic stop-start system which starts when you pull the trigger and stops when you release the trigger.

Some systems are very large, sitting on a big skid and requiring heavy duty electric power. Smaller systems are available for sitting on a shelf or mounted to a wall frame which can be plugged into a standard household electrical outlet.
